Volunteers Needed

Do you have a couple of hours a week to spare?

Would you like to volunteer at The BridgeLink Community Centre helping to run our Community Pantry?

We are looking for drivers who could pick up food supplies, volunteers to support the pantry’s day to day operations, help with teas and coffees and a warm welcoming face for shoppers.

Every Thursday 11am to 1pm.

The BridgeLink Centre operates a Community Pantry helping to reduce food waste whilst oﬀering aﬀordable food and staples. You can support us by donating surplus food or money via our website.

Are you or someone you know struggling to aﬀord a weekly shop?

For a small weekly subscription members of the pantry can purchase a bag of groceries worth up to £30.

These include store cupboard staples, toiletries, fresh food items. Sign up now, and then drop in for a shop and enjoy a cuppa and meet up in the cafe.

Feeding Our Families Exhibition

On Saturday 2nd September The BridgeLink Centre hosted the launch of the Feeding Our Families Exhibition organised by the Centre for Food Policy.

The event included photos and stories by a group of parents from Hounslow, about their experiences feeding a family on a low-income and ideas for change.

The launch was attended by over 40 local residents alongside MP Seema Malhotra and Cllr John Stroud-Turp.

The photos will be available to view upstairs in the hall until the end of September- come and take a look!
