About Us
We are a registered charity running a thriving community centre on the Ivybridge Estate in Isleworth. With over 3000 residents living on the estate, our centre and its volunteers provide a lifeline to the residents. We host a wide range of services in a welcoming and informal environment.
The estate is a vibrant, diverse community but with high levels of deprivation in parts. Our centre sits at the heart of the estate – a focal point from which support groups can contact and engage with those in greatest need of help.
Our charity, Ivybridgelink, is fully reliant on grants, rental income and donations to fund our activities. It is through the skills of the trustees and staff team that we have managed to obtain funding to continue key services, as well as partner with local organisations, for the benefit of local residents.
Queen's Award for Voluntary Service
In 2017 the BridgeLink Centre was a recipient of the prestigious Queen’s Award for Voluntary Service. This award is the highest honour a voluntary organisation can receive in the UK, and equivalent to an MBE for an organisation.
BridgeLink was recognised for its work supporting and empowering a diverse community in an area of economic deprivation.
The Queen’s Award for Voluntary Service was created by Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II in 2002 to mark her Golden Jubilee. It recognises outstanding work by organisations in the community and voluntary sector (CVS). This is a lifelong award and is testament to the significant contributions of our volunteers.

Partnerships

The Sky Up digital hub launched at the BridgeLink Centre on March 27th 2023.
This is a really exciting partnership enabling us to offer a great range of digital support, free WiFi, computing, podcasting and social facilities to centre users from the Isleworth community.
Sky have supported the centre with refurbishments to our cafe and IT Suite, upgraded WiFI and a range of digital equipment as part of their commitment to breakdown digital exclusion – especially among the under 25s and over 65s.
Watch this space for upcoming news on digital courses and opportunities at The BridgeLink Centre .
The partnership between Sky and Bridgelink is a collaborative effort to provide free Wi-Fi and digital skills training to the community of Isleworth. Sky will provide the BridgeLink Community Centre with free Wi-Fi, access to digital devices, and digital skills training. The community centre serves over 3,000 residents in Isleworth, and as a major local employer with its group headquarters in Isleworth, Sky has launched the Digital Hub to tackle digital inequality and support people who are digitally excluded.
The internet upgrades are part of this partnership, and will provide the community centre with fast, reliable internet access. This will allow residents to access online services, take online courses, and stay connected with friends and family. The internet upgrades will also allow the community centre to offer digital skills training to residents, helping them to learn how to use the internet safely and effectively.
This partnership is a positive step towards addressing digital inequality in Isleworth. By providing free Wi-Fi and digital skills training, Sky and Bridgelink are helping to bridge the digital divide and ensure that everyone in the community has the opportunity to access the benefits of the internet.

In April 2025 BridgeLink Centre strengthened their collaborations with London Borough of Hounslow to formally become an Isleworth Community Hub partner with BridgeLink Centre as one of their campuses.
Our services have been working together since 2022 with a Community Hub Advisor running a drop in every Thursday at the BridgeLink Centre. Additionally, BridgeLink have been working with Crosslight Advice, Housing Income and Citizens Advice teams to have a rota of services at the centre.
The formal partnership means that help and support for residents will be consistently delivered closer to where they live.
In becoming a Community Hub partner, BridgeLink joins other London Borough of Hounslow Hubs which have been set up in Feltham, Brentford, Hounslow, Cranford and borough libraries.
