C.A. Addiction Support Group

Friday 7.30pm-8.45pm

C.A. is an international, community-based 12-Step programme for daily recovery that has worked for many thousands of people worldwide. C.A. helps its members achieve continuous abstinence from cocaine and all other mind-altering substances. C.A. is NOT drug specific, nor is it about any particular group of drugs.

C.A. meetings are an excellent addition to throughcare, providing a safe environment to connect with others, share feelings, learn more about addiction recovery and help other people with their recovery. A C.A. meeting is held at The BridgeLink Centre every week throughout the year. This is a closed group so you must contact C.A., please leave a message if the call is diverted and someone will get back to you.

Community Pantry

Every Thursday 11am - 1pm

The BridgeLink Centre operates a weekly Community Pantry helping to reduce food waste whilst offering affordable food and staples to those who may be financially struggling.

Are you or someone you know struggling to afford a weekly shop? Sometimes households find themselves short on those everyday essentials such as toilet paper, hygiene products, washing detergent, sugar and milk. Our Community Pantry supplements these essentials and alleviates the financial difficulties of a weekly shop.

For a small subscription of £5, members of the pantry can purchase a minimum of 15 items of shopping. Those with families of 5 or more receive a bit more.

You can choose from 38 items on our shopping list plus a wide range of fresh produce each week including store cupboard staples, toiletries, baby products, cleaning products and fresh food.

We create a safe space for people to meet, offering free refreshments and a friendly face and there are also Social Prescribers and NHS Psychological Wellbeing Practitioners who are able to provide support and signpost to services.

Running alongside the pantry we have Hounslow Council’s Community Hub from 9.30am to 12pm with a weekly drop in advice service, as well as Citizens Advice, an Income Officer and Crosslight debt advice providing their services once a month.

You can also support us by donating or sponsoring us.

Hounslow Council provides various opportunities for residents to meet with their ward councillors through regular surgeries. For the ward of Isleworth, we have three councillors including Cllr Salman Shaheen, Cllr John Stroud-Turp and Cllr Sue Sampson.

Councillor surgeries provide an opportunity for any ward resident to go and talk to their councillor face to face to discuss any issues they may be facing as residents in the borough of Hounslow.
