BridgeLink Youth - Orange Tree Theatre, Richmond
In April, the BridgeLink’s Youth Group teamed up with a team from Orange Tree Theatre, Richmond to create their very own performance of Alexandra and the Ever-growing Glamour Fish.
Sessions were led by professional directors and theatre-makers who are highly experienced in working with children and young people.
The experience allowed the group an opportunity to explore, create, meet new people and learn new skills. They were supported by Madi Mahoney and Jess Haygarth who helped them with their confidence and challenged them to be bold, creative and passionate in their work.
Parents, friends and family were invited to attend an end-of-week performance with refreshments kindly provided by the Orange Tree Theatre. This pilot is aimed at developing an outreach programme between Orange Tree Theatre and The BridgeLink Centre.
